Adverts- i think are inappropriate or misleading ASA TASK
Comments on adverts:
This is the first advert picture that i think is inappropriate to advertise on television or any other social network because it is promoting smoking to young children and also to make it even worse it is representing children as young and rebellious even though not all children are like that so parents watching this might think i don't want my child to end up like this and also children watching this might think its okay to smoke. i think this is an advert advertising a website because of the link in the first image.

The second advert I've chosen to write about is the Miu Miu Prada advert from 2011, this advert was supposed to be promoting the clothes however i think its inappropriate not because of the choice of clothing but because of the location they have decided to shoot in, (a train track) i think it is an original idea and campaigned well because the choice of clothing matches well with the location, however i think they are promoting suicide simply because of the train track, when people see this at first they don't think it has anything to do with danger or suicide but if you pay attention it seems like that can be what the hidden message is and what they're promoting to their target audience.

The third advert is a perfume based advert, i think this is inappropriate because it is promoting the young model in a sexualised manner, and also i think the slogan "OH LOLA!" is quite inappropriate because it connects with the image and when the title and image sync together they are both promoting sexual things to any age of audience depending on when the advert is aired during the day.

Lastly this is the 4th image i have chosen which is a lynx based advert promoting the shower gel, the image and slogan are very inappropriate because firstly the image is selling the woman as a sexual object to men simply because of the way she is being represented, and also the slogan may be misleading because it is also promoting

Pitch for animation and feedback
Title-Egg and spoon
Feedback: good and creative idea considering coming up to easter holidays also well planned out and thought of carefully however needed to change target audience to more suitable age, Pitch was nicely tied in
Theme-Easter
Story: A day in the life of an egg, cadburys egg,egg at college then shows the egg growing up and going out into the real world, but then egg's life comes to a drastic end and has representation of death when the wooden spoon comes in and splatters it.
Name of our logo is EJME which is a combination of all four of our names;Ellie,Jess,Manahil,Emma.
For the beginning we have our logo and company name come up on the screen.
Target audience- 12 to 16 year olds
the reason for this is because easter is related to quite a young audience and not many adults would be interested in an animation about an easter egg
USP- (unique selling point) easter theme because of the easter holidays coming up.
There are no specific job roles we are all working equally together.

BBFC TASK
BBFC TAsk
The case study I have chosen to research Is the boy in the
striped pjamas this film was based on the holocaust and was rated a 12A, the
genre of the film was drama and was brought out in 2008, most of the beginning
of the film could be rated as a PG, this film was popular and also applied to
both young and adult audiences, this film was educational to the younger
audience because it educated them on the events of what happened during the
time there was a war and many of the jews where killed, and for the older
audience may have been a nostalgic experience because depending on how old they
are they could of experienced the experience and been around at the time this
event happened.
Based on a tragic true story so it captured many peoples
hearts and pull at their heart strings. The purpose of this film was to make
the audience feel sympathetic for the characters.
Cinemas had a few complains from people who where afraid the
film was too upsetting and moving for a 12A audience because it is okay for
adults to bring in younger children as long as they supervise.

Research on psychological, paranormal, monster, slasher horror
Psychological is a subgenre of horror fiction and film, where they use a persons emotions and fears to build tension in the film.
Paranormal is ghost related, most horror films use this because the idea of paranormal activity taking place in a house is an easy way to get a reaction out of the audience.
Monster horror produces fear and may cause physical harm.
Slasher horror is when it involves a mysterious masked or psychological killer.

Questions based on horror trailer:
looking at titles and what we expected them to be
1.Jupiter ascending
2.Avengers
3.Whiplash
Jupiter I expected to be a sci fi/ adventure trailer, because of the name, eventually turned out to be how I thought it would on the trailer
Avengers I expected to be an action/adventure film which turned out to be true
Whiplash wasn't what I thought it was going to be, at first I expected an action film because the clue of the name but it turned out to be something completely opposite and ended up being a trailer about music and the guy starring in it working hard to achieve something.
Question 2: was watch the trailers ^
Question 3: Trailers help audiences understand the genre of a film referring to the trailers listed above which ones fit the following genre? do any of the trailers seem to fit more than one genre, give reasons.
Genres trailers might fit into:
Drama
Fantasy
Action/adventure
I think Jupiter ascending fits into the category fantasy and action and adventure, my reason why I think this Is because the film is based on sci fi genre, and it fits into both categories because it has features of fantasy and action aswell.
I think Avengers only fits into the action adventure genre because the film is surrounded by only action there is no drama involved or fantasy.
I think Whip lash fits into the drama category because it is an intense film.
